What Is It?

The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed manner over ten, thought-provoking weekly sessions.

Who Is It For?

Anyone and everyone is welcome regardless of religious background or viewpoints. People attend Alpha courses for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate if God exists or if there is any point to life, others may have attended church on and off their whole life but never understood the basics of the Christian faith. Everyone comes with the same objective: to determine whether Jesus Christ has any relevance for their lives.

What Does A Typical Evening Look Like?

Each evening begins with a delicious dinner where you sit down and get to know others who are in the Alpha course. After dinner you listen to an entertaining talk on an aspect of the Christian faith. Afterwards you meet in small groups where you have a chance to discuss your opinions about the talks. You are encouraged to ask anything. No question is seen as too simple or too hostile. The atmosphere is very friendly, relaxed and non-judgmental.

What Are The Talks About?

Intro Dinner - Christianity:Boring, Irrelevant and Untrue
Session 1 - Who Is Jesus?
Session 2 - Why Did Jesus Die?
Session 3 - How Can We Have Faith?
