This is the time in your childs life when the foundation of their Christianity is created. Noroton Presbyterian Church Children's Ministry offers Sunday school classes for 3 year olds through the 5th/6th grades. Classes begin on Sunday September 20, at both the 9:00 and 10:30 services, but you can register your child now.

We have wonderful curriculums that make it fun and easy to learn about God.

We will be using Gospel Light for our 3 year olds - Kindergarteners. Gospel Light curriculum is designed to reach kids right where they are. It helps them learn about God and His word through fun discovery learning and creative activities that kids love.

Our Elementary school children will be learning from the Faith Weavers curriculum. Faith Weaver lessons encourage students to focus on the one most important thing in life: a growing relationship with Jesus. Whether they are studying Bible stories from the Old Testament or the New Testament, our children will be encouraged to grow closer to Jesus every week, through meaningful activities, great discussions, and personal challenges.

You Can Help Teach Our Children Grow in Christ

So many people are under the impression that they have to have some sort of experience to "do a good job" teaching Sunday school. It is just simply not the case. All you need is a love for God, and a passion for children.

We have a variety of oppotunities. There are a number of ways you can minister to the children in a time frame that will work for you.

• There are openings in both morning services
• Your commitment would only be for one Sunday a month
• Classes range from 3 years old up to 5th/6th grade.
• There are Superintendent positions as well

You will not be alone. You will be supported by other volunteers and the staff in Children's Ministry. There is also a Teacher Fellowship and Exchange event prior to the start of Sunday School where you can pickup the church provided materials, meet seasoned volunteers, recieve instructions and enjoy some motivational talks.

We will have Sunday School for all children, however it might be restructured because of the number of teachers, workshop leaders and shepherds who will actually be here.
