Congregational Life Ministry
15
On Maundy Thursday, our
congregation was blessed to have
a Passover Seder meal/teaching
prior to our traditional Sanctuary
service remembering Jesus’ last
meal with his inner circle disciples.
Pastor Greg led us through the
words and teachings of the Haggadah, helping children
and adults alike to understand the context, history, and
importance of Passover to our Christian faith.
Tables were set with the traditional Seder Plate. The
candles were lit, blessings were recited, the Ten Plagues
were explained, questions were asked/answered,
Matzah was eaten, and the afikomen hidden for
children to scurry and find!
It required ‘many hands’ to prepare for this evening; we
extend our thanks as a congregation.

• The Washer family
• Smalley’s small group
• Mettler’s small group
In May, the spotlight is on our Caring Ministries,
which programmatically include:
- Deacons
- DivorceCare
- Parish Visitors
- Stephen Ministers
These ministry areas are by design largely ‘behind
the scenes’, and represent ‘the hands and feet’ of Jesus in very concrete ways.
Our members are blessed with the support these servants of the faith provide.
With thankful hearts, we acknowledge them!
